At the end of 2018, Nova TV became part of one of Southeast Europe’s largest media houses. Related to this, the company implemented new IT system that will give support for its further business development. A modern system was selected that will enable higher compliance of business process, and which will support both current and future needs.

Since the United Group uses the SAP ERP system in its operations to support all business processes, Nova TV decided to implement the same system that has introduced the best practices and enabled standardization and alignment of its processes with that of the United Group.

Nova TV uses the HRplus (Human Resource Management) solution developed and implemented by KING ICT. In this solution, in addition to providing information about human resources, the roles of employees in the work order approval process are defined. This is essential for the entire procurement process which is completed with the processing of accounts payable in SAP.

Instead of implementing a DMS system for the accounts payable approval processes, the process functionalities of the HRplus solution were applied.

This innovative process to integrate HRplus with the SAP solution enabled a quick implementation that took less than 6 months to complete.

The project included:

  • Implementation of SAP ECC (ERP Central component) which contains the modules Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO) and Materials Management (MM)
  • Migration of data from the existing to the new system
  • Integration of the multi-step work order approval process based on a range of parameters with the HRplus system, which includes all data on employees and complex process roles of employees who approve work order forms
  • Integration of processing accounts payable with the core business application MIS (Media Information System)
  • Training key users
  • Post-production support
  • Adaptation of system-specific requirements of users for project capitalization
